Forest Hills Elementary School to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for Wildlife Habitat

WHAT:
Groundbreaking of wildlife habitat for birds and butterflies; planting party; unveiling of garden mural

WHEN:
Monday, April 30, 8:30 a.m.

WHERE:
Forest Hills Elementary School, 3100 N.W. 85th Ave., Coral Springs

WHY:
To encourage students to be good stewards of the environment

ADDITIONAL:
The wildlife habitat is an initiative of the "Planeteers," a group of students, staff and community members who are environmental advocates, and includes indigenous plants and a vegetable garden. The school has invited dignitaries and business partners who have donated their time and resources. Business partners include: Benjamin Moore Paint, city of Coral Springs; CVS; Home Depot; Publix; Type, Styles, Inc. and Walgreens.
