Gator Run Elementary Wins Conservation/Climate Challenge

Gator Run Elementary School was recognized by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, February 9 for winning the Conservation and Climate Change Challenge (C3 Challenge). Broward County Commissioner Diana Wasserman-Rubin presented an award to Principal Susan Sasse and science teacher Susan Beren, acknowledging the school’s successful conservation efforts.

The C3 Challenge is an educational competition intended to engage students, teachers, school administrators, staff and parents in practical strategies to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions school-wide and at home.
